| 734406 | 2009-01-04 08:43:00 | Yup. See previous message. I've reset the router twice now! Took me a while to find the settings the first time. Why is it that when you can't get an internet connection Microsoft tries to help you over the internet!! | ecurb (3669) |
| 734407 | 2009-01-04 18:00:00 | yep always wodered that myself and theres always that bois message "failed to detect keyboard, press f1 to continue" But we are running out of options here Have you checked the patch cable ie replaced it checked the network card ie replaced it swapped ports on the router ie changed for the one that is working correctly for the one that is misbehaving Have you got a friendly computer guru that can come and trouble shoot your network. I would recommend one you pay as they rely on the reputation to maintain income. and the very last option look at replacing your router |

| 734408 | 2009-01-06 00:50:00 | Bought a new wireless modem router yesterday and installed this morning. Everything now works perfectly. Now why didn't I do that at the beginning? Scottish heritage maybe, but did I think that over 15 hours of lost work time was really only worth $145! Thanks for all your help and I learn't heaps if it happens again! lol |
