533284 2009-01-09 20:05:00 Well, since we're resurrecting two-year-old threads (and I don't mind if a mod deletes this post :p)...

Core 2 Duo 3 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB SATA, GF9600, Blu-ray Writer, HD DVD Reader, OS X Leopard. Meh.

That debate is a boring one that has been flogged like a dead horse time and time again

Also, summarizing my first post:
Always go for WPA if you can, even WPA2.
We have a couple of cards that only do WPA-PSK TKIP, not AES, so we're sticking with that for now rather than using WPA2. Its a pure-G network, several repeater nodes, easy to join, no MAC filtering (Pain in the ass when you have 3 repeater nodes that the entries all need to be in) and no problems aside from the Vista laptops that semi-regularly poo themselves ;)

533287 2009-01-09 21:47:00 WPA is secure and WEP isn't - so it is a no brainer .

The link to the transcript of the recent Security Now podcast that discussed this for those who aren't regular listeners .
