| 735084 | 2009-01-05 00:24:00 | Hi guys........ and girls I have installed MS VS 2005 on my Win XP sp2 laptop. I have done similar installations in the past and have never experienced any problems with the installation, when I open the Virtual server administration website I get the following error: Page cannot be found when trying to connect to VSWebApp.exe.aspx. I enabled IIS and disabled the firewall. Any suggestions? |

| 735085 | 2009-01-05 03:09:00 | Sounds like a configuration issue with IIS. Is the .Net framework installed on your machine? (.Net 2.0) or the Virtual Server interface might need cgi configured to allow serving up content from "VSWebApp.exe". As for how to configure the skanky version of IIS (5.1 I think) that comes with XP, you'll have to look up that one yourself ;) |
