I cannot get Vista backup or restore working properly. With Backup I can backup an image of the whole computer or do a fresh backup of files but automatic backup or refreshing the last file backup doesn't work... it just comes back as "Last backup failed" and detail is "unable to find file specified 0x8100000A". Similarly Restore works when Windows updates or you do an installation but trying to Create a Restore Point comes back with much the same error dialogue and 0x800070002. I suspect it is something to do with file or folio attributes (most appear to default to Read only) and/or Permissions which appears to be a jungle of confusion. Can anyone help?
