534815 2007-03-22 07:19:00 Someone needs to do a spoof series where the little Mac twerp gets his comeuppance and the PC guy gets the hot chick.Spotted this a while ago on YouTube, and there are heaps more spoofs of the ads too. Amusing stuff not to be taken too seriously. :)

Considering the article was one of the better reviews that I have seen of Vista, it says a lot about the Mac platform if you consider it to be a Mac promotion.

534818 2007-03-22 11:15:00 My next machine, most probably a notebook, will definitely be a mac. I never game on a PC (find consoles do a better job for my tastes) but Macs play games just as well as PCs. Just boot a Mac into Windows via BootCamp (either XP or Vista) and your away. Similar apps like Parallels are encouraging too productivity wise.

The other argument against Macs, being cost, is still relatively valid but what can you do. I'll keep an eye out for second-hand which I don't mind considering. Although, a work mate bought a $600 mac mini from harvey normals a few days ago - only a core solo but it operates sweet as. Fire up FrontRow and hook up to the tele, media centre sussed.

Mac games are ok for the casual gamer but they don't cut it for the serious gamer, judging by all the comments on this forum . Also Macs don't have DirectX which PC games utilize . Parallels is excellent for running Windows for all other stuff though .
