| 735265 | 2009-01-06 23:05:00 | Can you confirm you have USB2. You can go into the device manager, remove all USB, reboot and windows will reinstall for you. Also I would apply SP3. |

| 735266 | 2009-01-06 23:21:00 | What you need to do is eliminate either the PC or the drive, no point in trying to fix the PC problem if its the Drive. Heres what to try - 1. Put your USB drive on another PC, try copying a large file over - see how long it takes - if it transfers fast then its a PC problem, if it doesn't then possibly the drive - or the PC's are not using USB2 ports. 2. Attach another USB storage device to your PC -try to copy a file -see how the speed is - if it copies quicker - then its the original USB drive that's the problem. |
