As someone who couldn't give a stuff about gaming on a laptop, but can certainly relate to the mechanisms involved in creating a TV item with one, I found it very interesting . . The title is Mac vs PC . And he says: For those of you who want an unbiased opinion/review of whether it is worth moving from XP to Vista, So yes, I'd say gaming does come into it . Nowhere did this thread state its a TV item comparison . |

No hestitation . Got the PC for the games, the notebook is for writing . Having said that, those Apple ads running on TV right now make me want to punch someone out . They drip so much arrognace and condescension that as someone who could potentially be a Mac buyer, they just turn me right off . A real marketing triumph . Someone needs to do a spoof series where the little Mac twerp gets his comeuppance and the PC guy gets the hot chick . |

I have seen the same comments made by others around the web about the Apple ads. There are plenty of spoof Mac ads on YouTube. I think the main trick with the Apple ads is that regardless of the viewers opinion, they get people talking which amounts to mind share. |
