2009-01-09 04:02:00 For some inexplicable reason, when I put a CD in its drive, it no longer starts to run automatically. Checking on the 'Net points me to the Registry, but as I haven't knowingly made any changes, I don't want to mess. Any advice? All help much appreciated. KB. kbcad (1025)
2009-01-09 04:04:00 Which operating system are you running? Theres an autoplay fix for XP, just want make sure that's what you're using before providing a link. :) wratterus (105)
2009-01-09 04:31:00 Sorry, very remiss in not supplying that info. Am running Win XP SP2. kbcad (1025)

Download and run, then follow the prompts.

2009-01-09 04:35:00 Apologies - make that SP3. Perhaps that is what caused the problem? KB. kbcad (1025)
2009-01-09 04:39:00 Will still work. SP3 shouldn't have caused the issue, even if it did this should sort it out. wratterus (105)
2009-01-09 04:55:00 Thanks Wratterus - will let you know how I get on. KB. kbcad (1025)
