| 736512 | 2009-01-08 22:11:00 | Hi all. Following a very recent PF1 thread re Vista windows Mail only remembering the last 29 addresses I down loaded and installed Windows Live Mail, as SWMBO kept complaining about that very problem. Very happy with Live Mail.:clap What the naughty Bill:badpc: also did without any option is also install Windows live Messenger which now starts with windows.:annoyed: I do not need or want it. How do I uninstall it.:help: Checked add remove programs and not seen. Checked add remove windows components nothing there either. Checked on Google. Lots about XP and very little for Vista that applies to this. |

| 736515 | 2009-01-09 01:13:00 | Ok...as a long shot. Have you tried reinstalling Windows Live Messenger so that it installs over the top of your current one to see if it appears in the Add/Remove programmes or as a Windows component. - just incase the original was a crook install. I operate XP and it is definitely in my Add/Remove Programmes box. |

| 736516 | 2009-01-09 01:29:00 | It was installed at the same time as Live mail. I dont have a copy to reinstall. Have stopped it from starting with CCCleaner. Now all I gotta do is get rid of it. |

| 736520 | 2009-01-09 09:38:00 | .......in the first post Messenger is not showing in add/remove programs. Add/Remove Programs (in XP) = Programs And Features (in Vista) (Sorry, if this is redundant info :D) |
