| 536046 | 2007-03-27 01:04:00 | Oh well, if not you personally, then Happy Birthday to the bit under your lawn. I didn't see this last night. But today I have looked at my lawn. (Did you mean front or back?) In fact, I spoke to my lawn. Nothing underneath it admitted to having a birthday yesterday- and as mine was almost exactly 6 months ago, I assume you've made friends there whom I haven't met..?. As I've spent much of my life - on and off - in this house, I'm slightly wounded that they've ignored me, but communicated with you.. Please introduce us. |

| 536049 | 2007-03-27 02:49:00 | Is that not good Otago soil under there? And wasn't one of the options for Otago's Anniversary the 26th? (And sorry about revealing where the bodies are hidden ;) ) |

(And sorry about revealing where the bodies are hidden ;) ) Oh, that birthday. Well, it had a particular weirdness this year. The actual anniversary date is 23 March. For decades there was messiness about celebrating it on the day or the nearest Monday or whatever. So we had shops open, but not banks. Or postal deliveries but offices closed. Recently it got basically Mondayised for "a long weekend." But this year, when it fell on Friday & could've provided that while still being correct, it was celebrated on Monday the 26th. I'm still tryinbg to think of a suitable word for that. Weird may have to do... P.S. Winston & pctek should've suffered it too. It's Otago/Southland's, I think. Edit: And Nigel's. And Greven's. And whoever else I've missed... |
