535916 2007-03-26 06:43:00 Not that I bought one - the lady I put the satellite broadband in for has just got one.
She wanted me to have a look at hooking it up for online gaming.

Its posh looking, has wireless controllers (haha, which come with USB cables), multiple connectors for various TV connections, which I did like.

Menu was interesting, it gives you the option of "Install another O/S".

And the minute I tried registering for gaming it insisted we download 2 updates.
Update, update, update.......that was a pain.

Apart from that I can't tell you anything because I didn't play anything on it.

Might have a look when I take her new switch up for her...........

You could put Linux on it for her :D (yes Sony will support it), yes I know, why would you want to do that for.

I would love one to play with myself but $1200 (or so) is too much for me. See Harvey Norman for doing packages for up to $2400 (ouch)... interest free for 18 months or so (boy I sound like the ad :waughh: )

535922 2007-03-26 09:01:00 The things people will do to get one.

The local Bond and Bond where I work, got broken into for the third time this month.

Luckily the PS3 was in a taffing heavy metal shell.

535923 2007-03-26 09:25:00 From reviews, and reports from users I've been reading on the net, I wouldn't buy one even if they were cheaper. CYaBro (73)
535924 2007-03-26 09:34:00 I wouldn't bother if they were free.

Zero interest.
