2007-03-25 01:54:00 | i have seen those automated web domain name appraise tools, but i want a professional to appraise a domain name i wanna buy for free. does anyone know someone that does it for free? Or if you have to pay what is the cheapest one. I found this domain for sale: www.credi-t.com But i have no idea what my starting offer should be. What should i offer? Or is it way out of my league?

2007-03-25 04:38:00 | Domain name appraisal?!! Who cares? If you want a name for your business and you A)Like it, B)It doesn't look rude then go ahead and use it. Why do you want it? Have you got a credit related business? In my opinion it looks like one of those trying to be something number plates. credit.com is good, credi-t.com is for those who are trying to copy the first one. As for this guys ad: Email me with your best offer, and i will be taking offers over the next 60days. The highest offer wins. And yes,you have to buy a $7 link at my link directory to make me an offer. And if I do not like your offer i will email you back to see if you can go any higher, but if i still don't like it, you will NOT get your US$7 back. Good luck to him, suckers only.

2007-03-25 06:59:00 | www.credi-t.comI'd never recommend buying someone else's domain name, unless you were desperate for it and it was dirt cheap. As for this name, it sucks. If you're running a finance/credit related business website and you want the name to help with searches etc, then include the full word "credit" as part of the name without any hypenation, eg credit-loans.com. Or find any available short name, and create the site within a subdirectory, eg www.yoourdomain.com and make the subdirectory at www.credit.yourdomain.com.

2007-03-25 07:54:00 | I like this bit... "Same goes for if you buy this domain name, you have to transfer funds from your paypal to my paypal.you can use your credit card because i have a paypal personal account and can't accept credit cards." What's that again? You can use your credit card, but he can't accept credit cards?

2007-03-25 08:27:00 | Damn, I wanted to be the one that said it sucks. And the sale conditions are a bigger suck. I posted just after lunch saying just that, Metla. (Errm, maybe with a slightly different choice of words...) But the PF1 machine wouldn't let me. It kept telling me: The title you have entered is too long (86 characters) Please shorten it to 85 characters long. So I shot off a Mod query asking how the original post got under that bar, yet I couldn't with the same title. And now that I see the rest of you snuck in OK later, I'm still wondering..?

2007-03-25 09:25:00 | the sale conditions are a bigger suck.Just looked at his temp page. Judging by the similarily attrocious language in this guy stacy4's post, I reckon they're one and the same and he's simply spamming his domain for sale. | Greg (193) | |
2007-03-25 22:40:00 | Greg, this is not my domain name for sale. i have a friend who is a member of sedo which is an online auction website and it was he who told me of this domain name for sale. i would like to buy and sell domain names like my friend is doing and sell them later for a profit. my friend at sedo has made contact with the seller and it is a legit deal.if you visit sedo.com yourself greg you will see there are tons of domain name auctions going on and alot of people trading there and if you look at the wording on some of the temp domain name pages you will see that most people write using slang and are young people like myself. we all speak and write the same dude. Just looked at his temp page. Judging by the similarily attrocious language in this guy stacy4's post, I reckon they're one and the same and he's simply spamming his domain for sale.
