| 535624 | 2007-03-25 00:44:00 | Hiya guys Me again. Latest news : took the D-Link back after all the trouble, and the shop gave me a Netgear wireless. B*gger, this one was even worse. Checked the Netgear website, found that Netgear and D-Link have the same parent company (their wizards look identical). Took Netgear back and told guy I don't want to do W/L any more. At least not a W/L modem. My old Xtra D-Link modem work beautifully - is there just a router available these days (that take the signal from the modem and just distribute it to W/L and PC?) I think so. Will try that. The guy in the shop mentioned something that my troubles could be caused by being too near the exchange - can that be true (I'm too stupid for that kind of info) thanks guys sarel |
