536586 2007-03-30 10:49:00 Now how many ISP people are on this forum?

There is:

Orcon
Xnet
Iconz

Who I am I missing? ;)

PS: Welcome to PressF1 spacemoose :D, I hope you can stick around.

There have been quite a few different company representatives who have posted on pressf1. I would be interested to know if they have personal accounts here, and create a new account when they need to post something on behalf of their employer, or do they just drop in for an occasional anonymous read?

Who else do you think will join us? If Xtra monitor this forum, I'm surprised they haven't stepped in for some damage control on occasion.

536587 2007-04-01 22:11:00 Forwarded this to Operations to investigate, it appears we are not resolving DNS for this site. Most likely due to an issue with the host.

We'll try and put a workaround in place while we contact them.

This site now appears to be working on the Xnet network. After a little investigation it seems the host has some DNS issues. Unless action is taken by them it's likely the problem could re-occur.

536589 2007-04-01 23:41:00 There also have been problems from another forum that the website

http://www.nikon-asia.com

does not work but work with other isp

I think xnet need to check that problem as well

Nothing to do with that issue at all.

Rather than make a new thread I just responded to this query, which happened to be in this thread.

536590 2007-04-02 06:03:00 Now here's another problem.
I receive emails at odd times.

I used to get them at around midnight.
Now they come in at different intervals... :illogical:

Are you saying that you only ever received emails at around midnight?

My thread notifications would always come in at around midnight, all of them.
Made things a lot easier to manage when it came to clearing spam

Probably the thread notification intervals? Looks like there is a instant/daily/weekly thing going on .

Any update on the email problem Bruce?

536594 2007-04-03 02:07:00 I haven't been in the office for a couple of days and haven't spoken to Jim. However I notice this morning that my inbox was clear of the bounce messages, so mayube some progress has been made. Biggles (121)
536595 2007-04-03 02:15:00 Appears to be resolved :)

I've just had my password reset (for user jb7) and received the emails to the Xnet email address. One with a link to reset the password and the second with the actual password.
