Hi guys and hoping you can help. I have an Compaq Presario 5420AU, runing XP Home and SP2. Been having problems with it accessing the hard drives. :badpc::badpc:Was playing up, last weekend, then all of a sudden it's starts up. I was able to do restarts, no problem. Tested drives (2) both okay. Today I closed it down and was removing a build up of dust. While doing that, it's starts up. I pressed the off button but it keep loading, so I plugged the plug. Finished cleaning, plugged it, and problem back. I have checked all the connections and all fine, but won't start. I have a Linux disk, which with problems, was able to load. Please help with what I can do? Thanks, Ian. |
