737491 2009-01-11 21:56:00 Hey guys. I'm trying to install windows without using a dvd (i have an iso and a license, but no access to a burner) by using a hard drive.

I have a pen drive, but its too small. Is there any way to make a bootable partition (i have a boot loader i could point at it)? If not, is it possible make a pen drive that is bootable run the installation files off the hard drive?

737496 2009-01-11 22:25:00 Daemon tools might work. Q man (14225)
737497 2009-01-11 22:34:00 A have several operating systems installed i just want to try the beta. I mostly am asking because I'm very curious how to boot from something other than a DVD, floppy or pen drive. If I really needed it up i could just run it via virtualization.

Netsukeninja, thanks for the links. I have already run across those and although those are for pen drive. I have tried to adapt them, but was unable to get it to work. Is there something I'm missing, or are you saying the only way is to use a pen drive?

Q_man, I was already using Daemon tools to get the files, but I was unable to boot.
