| 538192 | 2007-04-04 07:15:00 | Hi all, Am looking for such a player to replace my standard dvd player in my living room. Have been trying to find some in NZ but either we don't have much of a range here or I'm using the wrong search words. Does anyone know where I can find some? Dick Smith has one!!! |

If you just want a DVD player that also plays DivX movies off DVDs, there are just as many (if not more) that can do that as ones that can't. The cheap brands have had it for ages, and some of the big name brands have had that functionality for a while now too. |

Bout $1/$1.50 per GB second-hand, so you can pick up a Xbox+200GB chipped for about $300 (+- $50), pretty reasonable. I miss my Xbox+XBMC, bout a brand new 200GB Xbox for $500 a few years ago, good days. |

All the movies, music and recorded TV shows are stored on a PC and the xbox just streams them over the network. No need to have a massive HDD in the xbox as well if you have a decent size in your PC. You can pick up a modded standard size hdd xbox for about $150 if you do some searching |
