Applied for 6 Jobs in the last 24 hours, but its like s..l..o..w. and want to try and find a way to speed it up Both my brother in law and my brother now take home 100k/year and I am looking pretty piss pour compared to the rest of my family. I am planning on studying info.sys and linguistics possibly next semester but my dads like 'only study what will make you money' I am thinking of maybe just doing info.sys but well thing is IT Quals: you get them and then they are outdated not long after... i met a guy awhile ago who did comp.sci and like 5-8 years later it [uni course] was the equivelant of something you did in high school. |

Find some places doing the style of work that your experienced in and offer to work for free (I got my first Mac op job that way). Ask friends, family. Start your own website (if you haven't already). Check out seek.co.nz Be patient, be persistent and keep looking. |
