537644 2007-04-04 23:14:00 You love me, you really love me!

It's hard to tell how popular a particular page in the mag is, and we weren't receiving a lot of feedback from DT . Usually no feedback = no readers, and you can't keep a page that no one reads around forever .

So, if you wanna show your support get commenting on the DT blog ( . pcworld . co . nz/pcworld/dumb-terminal/" target="_blank">blogs . pcworld . co . nz), or email submissions/links/stuff to dumbterminal@faifaxbm . co . nz .

Lots of feedback = lots of readers = more likely to get a place in print, mmkay?
I can imagine this in the DT page:

"Dumb Terminal calls itself to get back into the page" :D

537645 2007-04-04 23:20:00 Ah that's not fair. There's only about 3 Bruce Buckman's out there and I'm getting beaten up by every Greg that's on the net ....

Not so hot now thought are you: www.googlefight.com
Hmmm. Ok, to make it completely fair I've added a random word after each of our names... the result (www.googlefight.com) should prove to be conclusive.

537646 2007-04-04 23:40:00 I don't think that's fair on you, so I've given you 3 extra words to my 1 (www.googlefight.com). Biggles (121)
537647 2007-04-05 01:27:00 I don't think that's fair on you, so I've given you 3 extra words to my 1 (www.googlefight.com).*sigh* If truth be told, you win (www.googlefight.com) :( Greg (193)

As a test, toss the editorial out for a three month trial period and replace it with D . T . - JJJJ will send you a bunch of smilies .
I will send a small aspidestera .
If we don't get our beloved page back, you will receive pictures of politicians for a week . After that, recordings of political speeches will be played in your office until a satisfactory outcome is reached .

537650 2007-04-05 02:11:00 Chris bring back Dumb Terminal or we will delay your coffee machine even longer, what worse punishment could there be than to be the editor in charge of caffeine starved Computer Geeks and Journos.

Failing that I have a photo of Theresa Gattung in a bikini that i will send to you if you don't restore it

537651 2007-04-05 03:26:00 ...or email submissions/links/stuff to dumbterminal@faifaxbm.co.nz.C'mon DT, get your email addy right. You missed the 'r'. dumbterminal@fairfaxbm.co.nz looks a bit better.

Unless.... is this a conspiracy to pretend to ask for feedback, but allow the editors to make an executive decision once all the emails bounce?

Bruce, I'm sure it's a breach of Greg's privacy to divulge personal information about him.

Greg is a bogan

To my knowledge, you are not protected by the truth of the statement.

537653 2007-04-05 03:31:00 I seem to remember that the only thing that JJJJJ likes more than Dumb Terminal is reviews of digital cameras. :D  Graham L (2)
