538032	2007-04-09 02:01:00	The amazing race thing sounds like a great idea for a club fundraiser . . . . . . . might have to suggest that at the next committee meeting :thumbs: . Ive always wanted to do the real amazing race . I'm not sure what an amazing race thing is but a friend did a really good similar kind of thing last year . They were divided into teams of three or four, can't remember which, and given a sheet of paper with a list of clues on it . The clues were questions that related to significant city landmarks but they had to use their brains as to what the landmarks were from the clues, then they had to go to the landmarks to get the answers which might be a date or name or something like that on them . It took them a couple of hours racing around the place from one landmark to the next and the first team back with all answers correct won . How easy or difficult the quiz is would be up to you but theirs was quite tricky and required as much brain power as speed of foot . They loved it .	FoxyMX (5)

We started about 6 weeks or so ago and are just about to start our grading season... after our tournament a fortnight ago, we had a pot luck dinner to celebrate playing so well as a team, which was lots of fun. :D The team I have gells really well and the spirit is already very high so I wanted to do something fun, different on a social level. We do alot of social outings with the whole club but as I have new girls in my team from outside of the club I thought it would be fun to do something together ... just us. There are 11 in my team with myself included and the ages range from 19 - 40ish (no im not the oldest) :illogical After our first competition, in about 8 weeks or so, I wanted to do something fun. We are looking into laser stike and perhaps 10 pin bowling with a dinner afterwards but there have been a few ideas from here that have deff. caught my eye :eek: . Spirits are high .... Just wanting to make sure they stay that way.:thumbs:	never-u-mind (6500)
