If the drivers that I installed for it, cant detect it (without me plugging an adapter in), its either dead, or doesnt exist Not much else I can do. I'm not planning on buying an adapter for it, since its not mine. If the owner wants BT, then they can buy the adapter Exactly. |

| 736852 | 2009-01-17 00:45:00 | I downloaded the drivers (NOT all of them) from here (www.acerpanam.com) Select notebook, then Aspire 5310 on the right, then search I wouldnt format just yet. If BIOS 1.50 isnt on it, update the BIOS (within windows first). The BIOS is on the above site / near the bottom It may pay for you to update the BIOS if you want to reformat it (if you dont have SATA drivers). Since IDE mode (if you dont have SATA drivers) doesnt appear in 1.40 of the BIOS. And you wont be able to install XP on it. The install wont find the hard drive DONT change it back to ACHI mode in the BIOS after XP has been installed (if you update the BIOS update). It will crash. Leave it on IDE mode |
