538270	2007-04-05 04:30:00	Take a peek (www.imagef1.net.nz) in the kitchen or supermarket sometime. ;) thats just an advert/logo. it dosn't mean in anyway that it is only NZ pork. you will be suprised at what they can get away with. country of orgin lablling is not compulsary....yet. also don't forget just because its labelled "made in ...." dosn't mean the ingredients come from that country. i did see some milk products that are made from NZ milk in asia. we make milk, send it to asia, thay make the products and send them back....go figure.	tweak'e (69)

Nothing wrong with gmail either. www.petconnection.com Any US dog forum will have info too. One of the many: forum.dog.com The FDA's lists are a bit late with news as are most government departments. They only count the test animals poisoned by Menu foods. www.fda.gov Checked out Euk & Iams by eMail myself after finding the recalled wet pouched food on pet food stores in Pukekohe . The same food is here but not the recalled batches. As far as I can find out Nutro pouches arrived in NZ but were stockpiled in the warehouses. Nutro was mentioned on TVNZ News earlier on in the recall. I didn't check out the dry Science Diet Prescription cat food that was also recalled. Like anyone else I try to decipher the often misleading info put out by huge manufacturing companies to placate shareholders. Personally I prefer to believe the people who's pets are dying or are already dead. First off the FDA and the labs said it was a Cancer drug in the Chinese Wheat Gluten used as Rat Poison in China , then Melamine in the same stuff, who the hell knows what it is this week, but the pets keep dying and I'll keep cooking my own and my dog's food with NZ produce. 538278	2007-04-05 11:21:00	sweet and sour. Well the sauce more or less consists of only 5 main ingredients. Water, vinegar, sugar, worcester sauce, tomato sauce. Add in your veges and pineapple, thicken and serve with deep fried pork bits. The pork is just cubed fatty belly pork with baking soda, starch, egg whites in it. 538279	2007-04-05 12:31:00	afaik most of pork we buy comes from canada or aussie. its annoying that there is no orgin of product labling. NZ seriously needs it. if aussie can do it so can we ! its not an uncomman dirty trick to water down locally made products with cheap imports :( That explains why wild pork tastes so much better. Does our venison come from Canada too? store bought venison is so bland.	Greven (91)
