736776 2009-01-10 09:31:00 Did you install 64 bit drivers? Since youre running a 64 bit version of Windows? Speedy Gonzales (78)
736777 2009-01-10 15:25:00 Yes, the driver is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows XP. drakoni (14504)
736778 2009-01-10 20:36:00 The drivers maybe compatible with 32 and 64 bit.

BUT, did you install the 64 bit drivers. Since x64 can be fussy what drivers you install on it.

I used to have x64 on the other PC here. Even tho I had installed 64 bit drivers, it blocked the drivers for the cam.

In the end, I wiped it and reinstalled XP. Because nearly every driver I installed on it, it blocked it. There was no point in having drivers for x64 in the first place

736779 2009-01-11 17:52:00 Yeah on the website it's the same driver for both x32 and x64 so that was the one I installed .

New Problem: On the boot up screen, it will load up showing the CPU clock but it will shut itself off before it will load up my hard drive and DVD player . I usually get it to work by just letting it restart itself about 3 or 4 time before it will just recognize the hard drive and load up into windows .

Another note is that I have found a solution for the BSOD issue . I start up Task Manager after I start WoW and let it slowly load up in the background while my TM is up and running . No BSOD so far . It's a temporary fix but I'd like to get to the bottom of this issue .

736780 2009-01-11 21:55:00 Well I wouldnt use XP Pro x64, if you have 32 bit, I would install it.

XP Pro x64 can be fussy about the drivers you can install for it
