She got outvoted. Why? We got on anyway, very well in fact, one of them has remained a friend ever since. If we didn't forced silly games wouldn't make it any better. |

| 538012 | 2007-04-08 03:53:00 | Might be a good idea to just go out on the piss for couple of hours instead of practice :illogical . The amazing race thing sounds like a great idea for a club fundraiser . . . . . . . might have to suggest that at the next committee meeting  . Ive always wanted to do the real amazing race . Want to do team building just to have a bit of fun together instead of being so competitive all the time . . . I think its a great way to get more comfortable with someone who's on a sports team and im sure the girls would prefer to do something fun as opposed to me making them do sprint work and court runs . At least once in the season  . The busking thing . . . . . . . . nah ill pass on that suggestion lol . Paint ball . . . . . . would love to do that but couple of my girls are so tiny the impact of the shot probably break a few bones  . Want to give it a go myself one day when im feeling less like a sooky girl :dogeye: . Is there a place in Hamilton where you can do a once off cooking lesson or painting the natural form heheheh now that would be fun . |

| 538013 | 2007-04-08 04:17:00 | Paintball is a lot of fun, and suitable for just about anybody, the paintballs themselves only sting when shot at close range, and even then, not really. At the end of our events we would all just fire off all our unused ammo at some poor sod, Laughed like hell as they rolled around on the ground covered in paint while a dozen people pelted them continusly. Another tick I used to do was fire shots into the foilage where my team mates were stationed....That kept them on there toes. A shot in the back of the head done wonders as well. |

| 538014 | 2007-04-08 04:56:00 | I was suprised at how little paintball hurt. I had been told how bad it was, and you had to go dressed up with all these layers cause it hurt bad. But when I actually got shot by one on the arm, I hardly noticed it. I guess multiple hits would start to hurt, but yeah... | mejobloggs (264) | ||

Exactly right, if management proposes their staff attend team building courses, then that is a direct indication that 'the management' haven't much idea how to manage, and that their efforts at management have lowered staff morale to rock bottom, this from experience . They may be managing by reading books on how to manage, and their staff get inflicted with the latest flavour of the month management technique/fad/buzz word according to the current book being read, this again from experience :) |
