| 538599 | 2007-04-06 09:14:00 | How does everyone like their vodka? I enjoy Lemonade, Lime & Vodka (vanilla vodka when available) when made by someone who knows what they are doing. When I tried to make it myself it didn't turn out that great :( So now I've got a heap of vodka, some old friends down for the long weekend to help me drink it & no ideas on how to mix it. |

You can use practically any liquour like Drambuie, Benedictine, Creme de Menthe etc and use two parts Vodka and one part liquer. One of my drinks. Double Vodka, Splash of Lime... Top up with Lemonade in an eight ounce glass. I leave it to you to figure what a splash is. Approximately like a dash, pinch is in cooking. Do it to taste. I suggest you do not use 7 1/2 ounces of Vodka and 1/2 ounce of lime unless you use most of the night to drink it. Shows my age. I should use millilitres. Or possibly litres. Based on the original maybe should be 100 ml Lime, 400 ml Homemade and 500 ml Lemonade. |
