738146 2009-01-13 02:41:00 Hi guys

I usually use Linux (Slackware to be exact) but in recent times I have aquired the use of a PC running Windows XP.

I have decided to install Avast antivirus, but I am looking for a good firewall to install alongside - preferably something that lets me see how much of my precious data allowance is being used by what applications/processes, what servers are being accessed, etc.

Any reccomendations?

738147 2009-01-13 02:44:00 Either Comodo which is free, or NOD32 Security suite, which isnt free. Speedy Gonzales (78)
738148 2009-01-13 03:01:00 Online Armour. The firewall in NOD is rubbish. pctek (84)
738149 2009-01-13 03:45:00 I had a look at the comodo thing, but it comes bundled with their antivirus as well, which I don't want as I will be using Avast

I don't want something nice and glossy, just something that gives me lots of options/details and does what it's supposed to do
