| 738158 | 2009-01-13 01:00:00 | All of a sudden any images I have in an email (text body) do not open. In their place is a blank box with a little red cross in the top left corner. This applies to both outgoing and incoming emails. For example, I have a logo on my email signature. It is there when typing emails but soon as I click 'send' it changes to a blank box. Any ideas? I run Office 2003 on WinXP and use MS Outlook. | tmckendry (6850) | ||

However I checked the settings you mentioned on Outlook anyway but all's good in that regard. As soon as I click 'send' on an email I've created my company logo changes from an image to the dreaded clear box with little red cross. |

| 738161 | 2009-01-13 01:45:00 | Some sites say clearing the browser's cache may fix it Or try this (social.technet.microsoft.com) There is a registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\O utlook\Security. It contains a key called "OutlookSecureTempFolder ". Delete the key! This fixed my issue with any embedded GFX and the red cross. |

Becasue I'm 'Barry Basic' re computors, how do I actually find the 'registry'. Imagine you're writing to a primary school child when you reply, thanking you in advance :-) | tmckendry (6850) | ||
