738081 2009-01-12 22:48:00 I have a compaq Presario V6001 running on XP Home Edition. I cannot get videos e.g. movie trailers etc. to play. What plugins do I need and where do I go to get them? Specific sites and details if possible. Thanks.:confused: Luvey19 (14514)

Are these videos online or on your hard drive or on a DVD / CD??

What program are you trying to play the videos with??

738085 2009-01-13 01:02:00 I have Adobe flash 6 installed and have been trying to play videos online using dialup - will this make a difference as dialup is very slow. When I click on a video it just will not start e.g. Youtube etc. I am a newbie with the internet so really need some help! Thanks everyone. Luvey19 (14514)

Uninstall it in add/remove programs, then go to the link in post 2
