Where's the blatant bribery? OK, it's something we toy with enabling ever now and then. Obviously, I like avatars. They're fun. But I do worry that it will end up being another thing that Jen, myself and Chill will end up policing when someone decides it's time to turn pictures of Brittany Spears' butt into their avatar. And despite user options to not display avatars, the argument that if people don't like it they don't have to see it doens't really wash from a management point of view. But yeah, I know, you want em. I know we should have em. It might happen. but wait ..... It might happen. we actually have a chance? lol Bribery, hmmm. Im a computer geek with lots of computer gear. you are a computer geek editior book person who has more gear. So how was I going to bribe you again? At least give it a trial. Give it a shot. If it dosen't work, turn it off. We have no one to blame but our selves:thumbs: |

Fairfax are allowed commercials, and the privilege is abused. The whole country has gone to the dogs since we stopped eating the missionaries. ;) |

Do you not have the option to approve avatars before they can be used? Another forum I belong to does that. You submit your avatar, bribe the admin/mods copiously, and a few days later you avatar appears. Of course that forum is nowhere near as well run as this one, apart perhaps from that small feature. :D |
