FoxyMX wrote 'Myself, I like to start with "Continue from last time" in order to preserve any tabs open when Opera is restarted.' I'm not talking about when Opera is launched, I'm talking about when you select (in the PC version) ^n or ^t (I haven't tried the Mac version yet and may not bother!) Faded_Mantis wrote "If you don't want 9.2 then uninstall it and reinstall 9.1" Is there a 9.1.1 with the security fixes that 9.2 has? If not, then 9.1 is not an option (where, exactly, do I get the PC version of it if I decide to use it only inside work w/o letting it use the proxy)? I had just gotten a coworker to use Opera at work, but even simple things, like having it say it is Internet Explorer (so internal work sites will load) was extremely difficult. So many things are hard to find, and now the simple "A new window should load the home page that we start everything from" doesn't work (unless y'all can help me!)! *sniff* |

| 540197 | 2007-04-19 00:25:00 | Are you saying you want your Homepage to open each time you open a new tab? I don't think that Opera was ever able to do that but if that is what you want you can add a custom button to your toolbar. Grab it from here (operawiki.info). If you are wanting Opera to display your Homepage each time Opera is started, go to Tools, Preferences and put your Homepage in the Homepage field. even simple things, like having it say it is Internet Explorer (so internal work sites will load) You have figured that one out now, I take it? |

I admit it's harder to find that it used to be. One it was just a click on the tools menu and then it was one of the main options in there. Now it's Tools>quick preferences>Edit site preferences>Network tab After reading your post I went looking for it, I checked advanced tab first, then preferences then quick preferences, wasn't too time consuming. |
