539621 2007-04-10 06:03:00 I'm very fond of Southland, Shortcircuit.

But last time I looked, the Dunedin & Central Otago below my name were both still in Otago.

(Mutters ....bombay hills & j afas & taxi drivers who don't know where they're going...)

Cor... did I 'regrump' you or what?

I just assumed that it was 'down there somewhere'... a bit like Americans think we are a suburb of Australia.

My humble apologies for maligning your roots by calling you a Southlander :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: .

I'm still very worried that you know a sheep personally though :stare:

Well, it's nice to know someone's worrying about me.

OK. I'm soothed.

539624 2007-04-10 06:35:00 I'm curious now, as an ex South Islander (the call of work you know), where in Central Otago do you live, Queenstown is it? View over the lake? Wanaka? How bout Ranfurly (the one bank town - my job brings me in contact with these fine people that work at the Bank of Ranfurly). Of course, you may not wish to answer this in a public forum. My wife comes from Invercargill and I was born in Chch, raised in Ashburton.

Just give me your Google Maps coordinates and I can zoom in on that lawn of yours which was mentioned in some obscure way on a thread one day.

...I hope you are not still grumpy as you might snap at me...

Hah - I have a Z- Ninja Penguin here - this is now the locale known as the ex-cat zone.
His score so far is 18 cats, 1 poodle, a land agent, 2 Mormons and a seriously startled lady who is now known as "The Flying Nun".

Spectators were so impressed with the Penguin's performance with the land agent they awarded him both ears and the (forked) tail.

539630 2007-04-10 08:59:00 Awww ... I like cute, warm and fuzzy stories. We need more of those. Especially on the news. Even if sourced from the other side of the world. :p

Nice story. Thanks pcuserwinxp.
