They are a fun toy, shame a bit too hard to use on short trips and they really are a bit slow to catch up when you are driving over 150kmph :dogeye: Firstly I have one and find it pretty good...Sometimes you have to use common sense if it tells you do do a u-turn keep driving it will soon work out another route. Sometimes it tells you are driving in the middle of a field.:illogical Overall don't find it hard to use. |

Unless they have taken a quantum leap in the usability (?) stakes in the last year I do not regret selling it on trade Me :) |

On short trips if you don't know where you are going it can be better than a normal map I would think... Yes, I found that out on my way home, I went off the designated route (on purpose to test that) That is cause it is not 100% accurate all the time... keep moving and it will update ;) LOL Well this one is really easy to use, press "go to address" (or whatever it is) type in the street name or select a region, then choose the number or just the intersection of the street... it is a touch screen :D EDIT: it also beeps and flashes over 110kph :xmouth: I must turn that off :p |

| 539356 | 2007-04-11 08:43:00 | I had it set to go home from down Porirua and I got a message saying my Gdad needs a hand... so without going home or changing the destination I went on up there... going up SH1 it told me to make a u turn when possible (not the exact wording) but yeah :p I tried seting it to go to my Gparents place (I had to go home and then back up) and got the wrong part of SH1... or I guess I selected the wrong place  (they live on SH1), so as you guys have said, watch out for that... |
