538724	2007-04-07 11:35:00	Oh yeah, Personally I was happy with my broadband connection, The speed was fine, The price and Data cap however were not Where Telstra have a monopoly on the fibre optic network in Wellington and Christcharch, they can basically charge what they want and have their own data caps. Basically I can get a far better deal, with far higher datacaps using an ISP that is using Telecoms network, than I can with Telstra with the prices they quoted me when I enquired. If there were competing ISPs on Telstras network, we could then have some competition on a next generation network. I just wonder why the government haven't extended unbundling to telstras network. Unbundling of telecom is going to make very little difference to cost, as their are now going to be 3 different telecom companies clipping the ticket.	rogerp (6864)

At least I'm not sitting back on my @$$ and letting them get away with their crimes, I'm doing something about it. You don't have to put up with this crappy connection they call broadband. Scape... err,maybe that should be landscape. I use Xtra and it works for me. While you are at it have a go at Petrol companies who seem to change prices fairly soon together. More or less at the same time. You might have a mission but I feel you don't need to push it down my throat. Go be a member of parliament possibly. What crimes are we talking about here? 538727	2007-04-07 11:48:00	Ignoring the broadband rort for a minute or three, I would love to know how Telecom were allowed to kill of a network with superiour performance and replace it with a dog that has crap coverage and crap quality. This is in regards to the mobile phone service. Why didnt they just keep the 025 network alive?, Sell it as THE SERVICE TO HAVE for anyone travelling more then 3 minutes out of town and charge a premium for it? All our 027 phones are useless when we hit the road, Might as well throw them in the glovebox untill we get to our destination, In the event that anyone does get through the phone call is an exorcise in retardedness, with noise, dropouts, and diconnection being the order of the day. The 025 phones in comparison were excellent, so much so that we declined any offered *upgrade offered by Telecom and ran 025 phones in most our fleet right up untill the day they died. They wont be getting replaced, the current product is too craptastic to take seriously. *Upgrade + Telecom = ******s.	Metla (12)
538728	2007-04-07 11:55:00	Hey guys, just letting you know I got a new server for telescum and now it back with a real CMS that works :D I'm also looking for people that want to help with putting stories and sstuff on there... but sane people.. I'm looking at metla, billy t, chill, and mods. If you wanna to help out it would be much appreciated. Telecom are still dragging their heels with this unbundling thing, not to metnion the incredibly crappy speeds. Cheers guys, and happy easter :) hamstar In Auckland you may have more ISP choices than a person living in Mangaweka. Do something useful like getting the shovel out and dig a small trench from JAFALand to Mangaweka. Then buy a number of kilometres of cable and lay it. Also learning some grammer and spelling would help. Currently it comes across as a school kids website, although you maybe a school kid for all I know.	robbyp (2751)
538731	2007-04-08 02:24:00	Its meant to be hostile, Jeez, anyone would think that only corporate sanctioned means of complaint are to be accepted, STICK it to the man anyway you see fit people, One form doesn't warrant more creedance then the other no matter what your brainwasher's have taught you, You do not need to complain in a manner deemed acceptable by those your complaining about. Sure, They may say they aren't listening but that just means THEY HEARD, THEY GOT THE DAMN MESSAGE,AND THEY DON'T LIKE IT. Screw em, Screw em all. All these efforts add to a single entity, No matter which form you throw your weight behind. You also think the protesters at Tiananmen Square should have towed the line or stood up to the plate like a man, or in that case, THE FREAKIN TANK. I agree in part, but in this case it does alienate them from people who probably may actually support their cause against these monopoly telecommunications companies. Currently the name and website is very childish, and the language matches it. If it was more professionally done, it may actually get some media coverage and more support.	robbyp (2751)
