738444 2009-01-14 00:54:00 Hi. This morn. firefox wanted to update. I let it, now the screen page is far too large and every time I try to go on the internet it says "firefox has encounted a problem and will have to close". I went back one day to a restore point but the same error message occurs. Also did a restart but to no avail. This problem has occured in the past but I can not find how I fixed it. I am having to use Internet Explorer to get on the net. Anyone have any suggestions please? gradebdan (2186)

738447 2009-01-14 04:39:00 Try running Firefox in safe mode and see if it makes a difference. You will find the safe mode option under Start > All Programs > Firefox. Jen (38)

- well not that I know of. I've been on 3.0.1 for some time however there is a 3.0.5 available. I was interested in why Firefox suddenly updated itself when there doesn't appear to be a standard release at present.

738453 2009-01-15 00:47:00 Jen... Started FF in safe mode, rebooted, now when I click on FF...open, it just sits and nothing happens. I think the update was 3.0.5. I shall now delete FF in add remove and install from pc world disc ver.3.0.3. gradebdan (2186)
