| 737842 | 2009-01-12 07:08:00 | I have got this Asus laptop running XP that shuts down randomly, even after 2 seconds, sometimes I have to keep restarting it just to get it to boot, I have tried running Barts PE and it still shuts down, leaving me to think its not software related, its doing it more and more, So Im wondering if it could be an overheating problem. I don't think its a BSOD or critical system error. When I first turned it on it ran for about 40min, now it wont stay on longer than 60 seconds, Its around 3 years old, battery is still good and it does it whether its plugged in or running on just battery power... Your thoughts please. Thanks |
