| 540036 | 2007-04-11 04:33:00 | Hi people Sorry but this is a random question Going to reuse my 3m hooks but it says that you have to use isopropyl alcohol or white spirits and wipe the surface area before applying the strip and placing the hook as stated here solutions.3m.com But the question where can i find ispropyl alcohol or white spirits from?? Thanks for the help |

| 540044 | 2007-04-11 05:31:00 | Isopropyl alcohol is used in a lot of household cleaners: glass cleaner, computer cleaning wipes etc. Nail polish remover uses acetone, which is much stronger. Many of the places which sell the 3M command adhesive hooks now also sell isopropyl "wipes" next to the hooks - not too expensive when I last looked at them. |
