| 539013 | 2007-04-08 09:52:00 | en.wikipedia.org I would be extremely dubious. First post, and asking for a drug commonly used for recreational purposes. If you actually need it, I'm sure your doctor would be happy to explain where to get it from. |

| 539016 | 2007-04-08 12:55:00 | As an ingredient in cough suppressants, it's a legal over-the-counter product in pharmacies. All you need is money. If you want it in larger quantities ( e.g "as a hallucinogen favoured by adolescents" ) what makes you think this forum has such answers? |

| 539018 | 2007-04-09 01:26:00 | Dextromethorphan: An oral cough suppressant available in the US without a prescription but which is sometimes abused as a recreational drug . Dextromethorphan (DXM) is chemically related to codeine and acts on the brain to suppress cough, but it does not have the pain relieving and addictive properties of codeine . Cough and cold medications containing DXM are popular among teenagers and young adults looking for a high . But in large doses (eg 100 milligrams or more), DXM can cause hallucinations and feelings of unreality . The signs of DXM abuse include confusion, impaired judgment, blurred vision, dizziness, paranoia, excessive sweating, slurred speech, seizures, fever, and nausea and vomiting . In some cases, overdoses and deaths have occurred . Give the kid a Darwin Award . |

We call abusers of this "Romilar-Freaks" for the brand name "Romilar® CF", a cough syrup/suppressant that is generally used for children and adults . People who abuse this stuff wander and stumble, cough a lot . . . (?) and cannot sign their names on welfare checks . It's a cheap high . . or low, really . . as it suppresses normal reactions to self-induced immolation, gunshot wounds, beatings and stabbings . I saw many freaks in the ER in Los Angeles where I worked who had multiple stab wounds or bullets in the head who didn't even know they were wounded and instead, complained of a headache or insect bites . The "come down" part is where the sweats and shakes and tremors appear . . while "up" which is really "down", they are pretty docile and stupored although they smell bad and have usually soiled themselves from most of their body orifices . Harsh, I know . . . but people of this mentality don't want to live like humans . |
