| 739475 | 2009-01-16 19:28:00 | Hi, Having spent four hours n the past couple of days trying to hook up a dvd recorder have come to the conclusion I'm a dunce. Want to connect my dvd recorder (Sony HX750) to my sky digital and a SD Sony television. Also want to use my Sony all-in-one home theatre to get sound from all speakers. Any advice would be much appreciated. Connections are as follows: SKY Scart tv Scart video RCA Aerial DVD RECORDER Aerial in Aerial out Line 1 in: RCA, s-video Line out: RCA, component video out HDMI out Digital out, coaxial ALL-IN-ONE HDMI out TV/VCR1: digital in (coaxial), RCA in, component video in TV/VCR2: RCA in Component video out Monitor out: Video (looks like a yellow RCA plug), S-video (DVD only) Dir-T1 TELEVISION RCA Component video with red and white RCA sockets RCA Aerial |

I'm not familiar with a Sony SD Television. Is it a CRTand what model is it. I have a Sony Bravia KLV-40V300A LCD TV. If I can't help you I'm sure some of the others well. :) |

| 739482 | 2009-01-17 19:55:00 | Page 26 of the DVD recorder manual shows you how to connect up a satellite TV tuner. Just another thing it might be time to upgrade your TV as you are limited to what you can connect up to it. :) |

As for the TV, you're right - will have to wait a few weeks though, because I have pay the tax department a decent chunk of money first:groan: Blair |
