Its a bloated poorly written security nightmare that steals your resources and phones home incessantly.

I'd be asking "Whats right about adobe reader?"

739244 2009-01-17 03:28:00 There are always security issues identified with Adobe if you read the mag and other mags as well. Plus it's installed size of around 90Mb compared to about 10Mb for Foxit gary67 (56)
739245 2009-01-17 08:10:00 Anyone having problems with Foxit should check for a newer version. Foxit's problems have being going away quite rapidly between versions I've found :) razzarphenix (2626)
739246 2009-01-17 09:11:00 Foxit only runs out, the free version, if you don't register it within a certain amount of time. Can't remember how long, but it does tell you on site, and sends a reg number to your email addy.

As for Adobe, it forever locked up my computer when trying to close it, let alone taking forever to start in the first place.

739247 2009-01-17 09:27:00 I think you downloaded the pro version supergran...the free version is fully "free" Blam (54)
739248 2009-01-17 20:34:00 Yes nothing to register on the free version of foxit gary67 (56)
739249 2009-01-17 22:07:00 Heres the link for the completely 100% free, no registration required, no trial, no time limit, no forced upgrades version of FoxIT PDF Reader (Free - Not Pro):
www.foxitsoftware.com

Previously there was only a "Get it free" button that would take you to ways to get the Pro Trial and then register it for 'free'. The download link for the *actual* free version was a small text-only link that was incredibly easy to miss...
