738857 2009-01-15 05:46:00 Ah ok, thanks.
The guy at DSE wasn't very helpful then as we got the laptop at the same time as the game, my partner was specific when he said he will be using it mainly for gaming but we never got any other recommendations. When I took the game back saying i think it's for 64-bit, he didn't correct me or say anything about the type of laptop we got. On the back of the box, it says Enhanced for 64-bit, all he said is "Yeah, you really should have read the specs before purchasing it" .. Nevermind though, bad customer service skills on his behalf :)
Thanks for your help!

738858 2009-01-15 05:52:00 specific for gaming?
"Up to 251 MB total available graphics memory"
found on h10010.www1.hp.com

it needs a bit more to be specificly for gaming

738859 2009-01-15 05:53:00 Laptops under 2500 aren't really made for gaming, you'll need a desktop if you're serious gamer:thumbs: Blam (54)
738860 2009-01-15 05:58:00 So it would work on a desktop computer? as we have one that's not really been used at the moment, it's only a cheapy from the warehouse.. Dell something, but it handled the Battlefield games, so if this game will work on that computer, we won't need to sell the game, and the computer can start getting used again. smudge (13752)

such a small box can't hold that much hardware.

a decent graphics card would take up around half the laptops space

Just as long as it meets the system requirements, cant see why not
