541021 2007-04-15 01:40:00 They offer the crappy cafe style of coffee in New York?
Flailing with barb wire is too good for 'em.

541022 2007-04-15 02:46:00 Works fine FF 2.0.0.3, and IE7, although IE7 shows a bit of the header at the top chopped off.
Same here.

541023 2007-04-15 07:48:00 Many many thanks for all that, people.

It looks as though it's Down Under Bakery 1, Laura Nil.
They'll be pleased.
And I'll have a play with my settings later.
(Thanks for the suggestion, Shortcircuit)

I had a sneaking suspicion earlier something was slightly wrong, but this website was the first real jumble I've seen on my machine.

Off to let them know - and check the time in the Big Apple.

541025 2007-04-15 08:38:00 Interesting that IE7 chops the top off.

Anyone got any ideas how they can fix that?

(I see it's 3.45am Sunday in New York.
A cool 9C with light rain.
Just the weather for a pie..?)

541026 2007-04-15 08:41:00 I tried different text sizes from the view menu. Seemed to help a bit rob_on_guitar (4196)

FF shows it cut off too. I think that is the intention -- and a good one !

Great site, Laura :D

Trying that solved my WHY.

This comp has only a small 14in CRT monitor.
I have poor eyesight anyway & because the machine is in a low-light area (Bad I know, but hopefully temporary) my View/Text settings are cranked up to Largest.
IE6 gives 5 text sizes.
Only on the smallest do I get a perfect display, though No. 2 isn't bad.
Basically, the higher I go. the worse the jumble gets.

That no doubt explains why a few other sites give me some cramped text. It's just that I've not found one so bad before.
I guess today's websites aren't designed for large text options.
(Or maybe there are settings changes that'd make some improvement... some other time. Lots to do just now)
