They are pretty boring and not meant to be objects of desire. :rolleyes: The "offender" gets a red (or yellow) square beside the post in question that can only be viewed by them and the Mods - completely invisible to all else. They also get a few words of wisdom via PM from the Mod along with the notification on what the infraction was for, how many points it is worth and a link to the post in question (just in case they cannot remember their deed). ;) As Joe was asking, even once the infraction expires (normally 5 days later), there is always a record of that infraction noted against that persons profile. Infractions are merely a way of giving a gentle reminder about the rules and only if you manage to acquire 4 or more of them within the same 5 day period do you end up in more serious do-do. |
