541581 2007-04-17 11:25:00 The Duke is out working, he has 3 jobs to get the neccesary $$ to buy a new comp with enough sass and Ram to let him live in the manner to which he has obviously become accustomed. He needs a bigger and better castle than Vista !
I don't give a toss about Vista, (it won't be ready to come out of kindy for a year or so,) but for the Duke I may just have to freshen up the video card a bit. But 4 GB of RAM ?

541582 2007-04-17 12:06:00 www.yougamers.com question. Weird link. No info. Why tha * did I waste a click on this post? Greg (193)
541583 2007-04-17 12:28:00 Does that mean you intend to make a post in every thread where you aren't the target audience?

You know, You could make posts in them stating your not the target audiance.

Must be hard living with that fact that the odd thread out there holds nothing of personal interest for you, My heart pumps custurd over your waste of a click. Plenty more left in that mouse though, No fear of running out any time soon.

Cry me a river, dude (www.rockpapersaddam.com)! (rip)

Anyway, to answer your question... curiosity got the better of me. I never previously felt sufficiently esteemed to be the "target audience" of any of your posts.

I have now learned the error of my ways. I submit.

541587 2007-04-19 12:51:00 ah, the childhood days wasted on duke3d, actually, i've still got it, and my old 133MHz pentium-s with 80MB of RAM, affectionatley known as "the crappy computer" is stillalive and kicking :D motorbyclist (188)
541588 2007-04-19 21:57:00 yeah - a few months ago i saw a "high resolution mod" for it - it mainly affected the guns , bullets and dukes foot - and added some higher resolution options i think

it looked pretty good but only a few of the monsters were "upgraded" to hi-res as it was a beta mod - but it was still great to play duke nukem 3D again :p

541589 2007-04-20 00:25:00 If you still have D3d either in Shareware or Registered form, you can still play it on windows.

All you need is the .GRP file found in the main directory. And have a blast 'duking it out'

Hail to the king baby!
