739927 2009-01-18 02:10:00 Hi i recently did a burnin test using burnintest pro v5.3. It failed my ram saying unable to allocate to correct place. It only does this when ram is selected and 2d graphics selected. With 3d graphics it passes. If i do a seperate test on ram with memtest86 it passes.I,m using vista home premium, with gigabyte ga ep45-ds3r mobo, 4gb ddr2-800 kingston value ram in pairs and my graphics card is palit 9600gt. If i remove 2 gb ram it passes on the burnin test. My pc seems to run slower on 4gb ram than 2gb. Any suggestions would be appreciated mrplane (11854)
739928 2009-01-18 02:44:00 You have a 32bit or 64bit O/S?
If 32bit thats probably why.

739929 2009-01-18 03:29:00 32 bit, but i,m sure when i first built the pc is was ok. I know 32 bit only supports up to 3gb of ram.It still fails on 3 gb mrplane (11854)
