| 543370 | 2007-04-26 06:33:00 | Cat 6 cable differs from previous versions in that it has an extruded spacer which maintains a distance between the individual pairs. This helps to control the impedance, and allows its use at higher frequency (up to 500 MHz). But it's still unshielded twisted pair. Perhaps we should call it "Better Unshielded Twisted Pair" with the FLTLA (Four Letter TLA) BUTP. :cool: |
