740437 2009-01-27 19:18:00 Lugged the old pc up next to the new one and did an eyeball check across the two screens, everything checked out okay.

A good program for comparing folders is CDCheck. Despite the name it will check folders on hard drives, etc as well.

CDCheck downloaded and will try it.

740439 2009-01-30 02:38:00 1GB = 1000MB
1MB = 1000KB

So, 0.2GB = 0.2 x 10^6KB = 20,000 KB

Unless you meant Kibibyte? :)

Sorry, but I think that:

1GB=1024 MB
1MB=1024 KB

This'll make 0.2GB 0.2*1024^2 = 209715.2 KB
OR 204.8 MB

Don't want to show off, but there ARE vendors out there who think that 1GB=1000MB, and may cause confusion when choosing a hard drive...
