| 740315 | 2009-01-20 06:22:00 | Yup, no SP at all on the installation CD. If I run disk mgmt can the c: puff up to 250gb with window files? Or can I only do it on an empty drive? |

| 740316 | 2009-01-20 06:25:00 | You can even with system files inside, but I think you have to use gparted or a windows cd to partition it. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't | Blam (54) | ||

| 740318 | 2009-01-20 20:36:00 | Thanks will use Qparted . I used that with windows 2000 before re: ntfs resizing partition or there is partition magic but cost $$$ . The thing was I only have one DVDRW so I had to dettach and rettach and then make my slipstream CD . Swap DVDRW over and install on the new pc . At the mo C: is 130GB, 50-130GB on D:, 500GB on E: (2nd physical drive) . Now after using briefly those 10k rpm drives in raid stipe would be nice . . just noticed some latency doing my photog tho when it gets going it goes . |
