2007-04-24 10:37:00 | I was filling in a survey from M-Soft today about system reliability, got to the last page & the survey encountered an error & had to shut early, maybe didn't like the answers | Whenu (9358) | |

2007-04-24 11:49:00 | The actually called me once to do a survey, 9 hours after I called MS for a query. Only if they were so quick in other aspects (security and R&D for eg) | beeswax34 (63) | |

2007-04-25 06:26:00 | Funny. Billy Gates often gets the same problem when he is on stage in front of a packed auditorium demonstrating some of the really neat stuff that Microsoft has just "innovated". ;) 50 patches and 6 months later and the same stuff is still crashing....

Heh, that happened to Jobs too. Did a presentation only to have the Mac go bonkers  |

2007-04-25 08:58:00 | Heh, that happened to Jobs too. Did a presentation only to have the Mac go bonkers  From what I heard it happened when he tried to demo the Motorola RAZR on stage for the first time. The reson for that was that Motorola had more to do with the design of the RAZR than Apple. According to reports it didn't work when he demo'd it so he threw it on the stage and kept on going. Generally though, Steve will preview what ever he is going to be demonstrating on stage several times before the actual event so that he knows it will actually "be alright on the night"...unlike Bill Gates. Other than that I would say Steve would have a much higher success rate of demoing stuff than Bill.
