1434427 2017-04-20 03:07:00 Managed to fix this Lumia 800. Well it turns on lol (it didnt before).

I can connect to this, but all it says is Nokia Dload, which according to some sites means I need a bootloader.

Because the logic board / motherboard I've got is unlocked, it needs a bootloader to load the bloody thing, or to see anything on the screen lol.

The seller didnt mention this on the site

There's a lot of fixes / ways to do it on different sites. But does anyone know an easier way??

I think you can do it, with an ATF flasher or something.

If it had been previously flashed, then you maybe able to just repair the bootloader, which maybe the easiet? Otherwise try flashing it with the latest.

1434429 2017-04-20 08:40:00 Err thats the prob it doesnt have a bootloader AFAIK.

I think this Nokia Dload icon that comes up (in devices and printers), when I connect it with a USB cable means it doesnt have a Qualcomm bootloader or something.

But sometimes Nokia 800 appears so it does know what it is. But, at least it turns on and windows detects it

And it did install drivers for it. But programs like the windows recovery tool (the one that installs the software for Lumia's) couldnt detect it

No it hasnt been flashed with anything it's brand new and an unlocked logic board. I dont think it's even got a bootloader on it

Thats why (I think) I need to flash a bootloader onto it. So it turns on / and boots/ does something

1434431 2017-04-20 10:51:00 I tried the windows device recovery tool. It cant detect it. Even tho it does appear in devices and printers as a Nokia 800 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1434432 2017-04-21 22:28:00 Got in touch with the seller. Told him, to either give me a refund, or send me another logic board, with an unlocked bootloader. So I can put something on it

There's no way I'm going to put anything on this one
