| 1434402 | 2017-04-19 09:43:00 | Hi, I was recommended to use an Angelbird SSD2go PKT 512GB which has a 550 MB/s sustained reads by a tech support of a sound library company for multi-track midi recording. Because it is quite pricey and difficult to come by, I thought perhaps I could match the performance by purchasing a Thunderbolt Drive like the Transcend 2TB Thunderbolt External HDD, then replacing the original HDD with a WD 1TB SSD. Will this combination work to produce that kind of read speed? Are there any other recommendations to achieve a similar result? Thanks |
